Celebrating neurodivergent girls: #WeAreEnough film and other resources launched

13th-19th March is Neurodiversity Celebration Week

Local community organisation NeonDaisy is launching a new film to celebrate neurodivergent girls, #WeAreEnough: It aims to give autistic young people a sense of belonging, of validation – and to know that they don’t have to sacrifice their own truth in order to take up space in the world.

The film is part of two new collections of resources.  The first aims to help health professionals explore the needs of neurodivergent girls early on, even when a diagnosis isn’t part of the plan. The second collection is for parents/carers.

The content below has been created by NeonDaisy, a neurodiverse community organisation which helps to connect neurodivergent girls. It’s been developed with the support of Sirona Care & Health’s Specialist Autism Assessment Service and funded by the BNSSG ICB. (Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board). The resources will continue to evolve over time - if you have any queries or feedback that will help us shape them, contact hello@neondaisy.org.uk
